SCIENTIFIC ADVISORS

The Advisory Board was founded in January 2019 with the ambition of strengthening PolarCool's international network by linking leading experts in sports medicine and neurology as advisors to the company's research activities.

PolarCool's scientific advisors are important sources of knowledge and information for the company and are consulted regularly on medical and scientific issues that arise in the business. Furthermore, the knowledge of the advisors serves as an important factor during the product development process to ensure that PolarCool's products and services meet the required standards of the medical field.

Professor Emeritus Yelverton
Tegner

Yelverton Tegner, MD, is Professor Emeritus in Sports Medicine and specialist in orthopedics. He has since the 1970's conducted research in sports medicine and concussions in particular and is internationally renowned in the subject. Professor Tegner has served as team doctor in for several sports teams, including Lulea Hockey, the Swedish national women's football team, Plannja Basketball, and the Swedish national women's basketball

Karin Granberg M.D

Karin Granberg has been a physician for 30 years. She has worked as a district doctor, company doctor and sports doctor. Karin is team doctor for Skelleftea AlK (SAIK) in SHL and was responsible for introducing PolarCap® System in the organization.

Furthermore, Karin has been a physician in the TV program Expedition Robinson, and also for several years featured doctor in SVT's TV program "Fraga doktorn" (Ask the Doctor).
